What is Trioxin and who is Tarman?

What is Trioxin?
2-4-5 Trioxin is the fictional chemical at the heart of Return of the Living Dead. Created as a military experiment, it’s the toxic gas that seeps from leaky barrels and reanimates the dead with an insatiable hunger for brains.

Who is Tarman?
When the first Trioxin barrel cracks open, out stumbles Tarman, the ooze-drenched, skeletal zombie who became an instant horror icon. With his slimy black skin, bulging eyes, and guttural cries for “BRAINS!”, Tarman is forever linked with the cult status of Trioxin.

Fun Fact: Tarman was the very first zombie in cinema history that uttered the word "BRAAAAINS" and was also the first zombie to survive off of eating brains. Zombies before Tarman ate flesh.
